i'm finally getting around to uploading pictures from the lady baby's first birthday. it is really hard to wrap my head around how fast this last year has gone by. the last year has been the best of them and the worst of them all at the same time. and after we celebrate her first year with us, from now on birthdays in this family will be celebrated in a much different way. you know, without the stress and without the cleanup and need for a week to recover...lol. i love parties but they sure are work.
^^^ my little fairy princess was not in the happiest of moods. of all times she had to be cutting her first teeth the day of her party. made for a very i'm-not-interested-in-smiling-lil-girl. but, ah well. ^^^
my big helped me with the garden backdrop. i love that he is so interested in crafting and creating. i love the little conversations we have when we are mapping out what would look best and where.
i picked up the best little favors in the target dollar section. very hungry caterpillar jumbo crayons for the boys, tiny bright colored piggy polish for the girls and cute little grow kits for everyone. serious wining going on that day.
^^^ i love the dad that he is. ^^^
^^^ with their pop pop ^^^
the coloring table was a hit. originally it was supposed to be a "crafting table" with markers, crayons, paints, glitter, but i am learning that sometimes less is more.
^^^ vannah's bestie. isn't she the cutest ever!!! ^^^
i really loved seeing the little fairy wings flap around as they played. it was magical for me.
i adore this little girl and i am so blessed that i get to call her mine. i am loving watching her personality blossom and have no words for how it makes me feel to see her interact with her brothers and her papa.
so lets talk about he cake thing. i was hype. she is my first baby that was able to have cake on their birthday. both the big and little had to have a cute little jar of cheerios with a candle on top because of food allergies. i was so excited to see how she would like it and it turned out to be a bust. later i realized that it was because of the heavy amount of food coloring in the hot pink frosting. it was terrible. no wonder why she made the serious stank face when she tried it.
^^^ my family ^^^
i love my friends!!!! they are seriously my family. they don't mind when i do things at the last minute, talk way too fast because my mind is running miles a minute and cry over the phone because I'm a tad overwhelmed with my crew and just need someone to make me get out of the house. i seriously ADORE them.
you light up my life baby girl and you have changed the dynamic of our family and we are thrilled. i am so elated that i get to watch you and your brothers as you grow and fulfill God's plan for your lives. you are beyond special to me.
love always and forever more,
