{THANKFUL...}

this year, thanksgiving was nothing like what i'm used to. we did no traveling, no guest, not elaborate menu items.... just us. it was my very first time preparing a turkey. i was nervous...lol. i was afraid we would regret not traveling up or down the road to spend the holiday with family. and yet, while i missed them dearly, i was pleasantly surprised by how nice our little thanksgiving was this year.

the babies and i spent time cuddling and coloring while we talked about all the things we were thankful for.

i tried filming a bit and letter building with bananagrams...

and although BDH is no where near a "turkey type of guy" he actually said that mine was the best turkey he's ever had (i chose to take that as a compliment and felt all sorts of warm inside)...
