the typical chaotic moments just before heading out of the door with their dad. heading off to spend a few hours at the community center which gives mommy a chance to chew on the silence around me, turn on the softest of music and write… to you!

I need to finish the email sign up form that I have been working on for several weeks now ( a project that should have taken me less than an hour to complete if I didn’t have so many moving pieces floating around in this brain of mine).
I need to write up my new! book year plans to share with my patronfam friendsssssss since I won’t get to post the planning video that I intended to share w/ them yesterday after realizing that I have lost a HUGGEEEE portion of the footage that I worked so hard to film!!!!
we have had the BEST HOMESCHOOL DAYS LATELY, and I still can’t seem to be happy about that fact alone because I haven’t posted to our instagram, published a FallCoFamily Film in over 3 weeks and I have a back log of homeschool goodness to share that I cant seem to figure out exactly where to share them!!! I think it’s time to catch you up and let you in on a few decisions that I need to make…

and to be honest, i definitely feel like i’ve failed at youtube!
it’s been several years since we started posting on our youtube channels, and I am just tired of trying. i am tired of trying to make something fit that probably wasn’t meant to work out in the same way as “others”. but, just as I was working my way through neil gaiman’s masterclass on “the art of storytelling” the other day, I came across this gem…

i guess i am committed to finishing what feels like a “failure” and taking with me all of the lessons that i’ve learned along the way. so, i’m deciding to “refuse to follow the rules” and i talked about this a little bit more in this vlog a couple of weeks ago.
