how do you feel about living & learning in this “age of ai”?
i shared a post on our instagram with some of the reasons why we’ve been able to move forward in our homeschool days in/with faith & not fear of what lies ahead.
i was simply thinking, one day, about some of the ways w’ve chosen to make sense of the world & how they inform the way we live & the ways we learn.
as i head into year 14 of homeschool life, i am finally allowing myself the room to reflect more deeply on what has propven most fruitful throughout the years of trial and error. what i’ve learned is that because of this… then has lead us to the best of spaces.
because i believe that a deep understanding of purpose & priority preserves… thier love of learning will always remain.
because ive focused on preparing them for life and not the workforce.
Our version of a classic research report, our ‘Research Notes’ provide the basic building block on which they’re able to jot down their thoughts, ask questions, find answers, organize their information, and keep an account of thier research from their point of view.
In our home and school we question everything, assume nothing and learn the truth with questions at the heart of it all. Our big book of questions is a simple and sweet solution to helping us keep up with their curiosities and encourage us to circle back around to find answers.
