{ SURPRISE BABY FOR HER 10TH BIRTHDAY: BRINGING HOME HER FIRST BUNNY... }

memory-keeping has been a challenge as of late. life has been moving faster than i’d like and my documenting has been so out of date. I snap and record all day everyday and yet, without making time to reflect and put the memories “all together” it’s almost as if the moments miss me, happiness is barely happening and life is just one big wheel of day-after-day. but, i think I have a plan and words, pictures and videos will always be involved because it’s always been a goal of mine to be #theirmemorykeeperforlife

alas, lets talk my baby girls’ big 10…

it was the beginning of a bestie weekend for the books. we wanted her tenth birthday to be as effervesent as she is, completely with her in mind. she’s wanted a baby/animal to love on, care for and do life with for a while. planning her birthday bestie weekend started with the newset member of our family : I-LOVE-LUCY HOMER

she got me.

she started laying out the vision back in 2020 about the bunny dreams she had🐰 and as the president and perfecter of persistence we are here. she’s done her research, given her presentation, laid the platform for… and constantly reminded us that if we wait for the perfect conditions we’ll never get anything done. and, did i mention we are here?!

bringing home her first baby bunny…

side note // you know how blog posts these days are all polished, laced with tips and lined with links to all of the best things pertaining to the topic at hand? yeah, well this ain’t one of them. :/ i’ll share what we’ve got and let you in on the mess in the making and you can follow yet another journey where thefallcofamily mom has no clue what’s she’s doing but she’s forever here to actually live while she learns. i’ve spent years and years away from blogging because it’s become something completely different than what it started for me (a place to collect memories of the super special days and all the everydays in between).

BUNNIES, BELLS & BESTIES: A TINKERBELL INFUSED BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE GWORLS…

i picked a color scheme, ordered some balloons, added twinkle lights and a few cake toppers to choose from and add to a simple store bought cake (usually we bake it ourselves). i also try to pull together tiny gifts that double as activities to make the day full of tiny pieces of fun with family/friends. this time around it was a set of beautiful butterfly tattoos, a tinkerbell diamond painting set, a special edition tinkerbell doll, the most precious pearl handled clear purse for our tiny fashionista, and lighted fairy wings for magical bedtime fairytales to end the night in a special way.

of course the gift that keeps on giving our girl day after day full of fun, her baby bunny lucy girl!

i filmed a few bits and pieces of us prepping to pick up our lucy girl and getting her new home all ready for her arrival. we’ve learned soooo much about rabbits, their breeds, their care, their needs and behaviors etc. along the way. savannah has done such a great job learning the ins and outs of bun mom life. and, i just smile inside watching her learn and grow with her new responsibilities as she adventures with her bunny girl.

so, i have questions…

how many of our fallco friiieennnddds have pets? what kind? any bunnies? can i still use my diffuser in our school room? will my house smell like hay? what do i do when we are away on vacation?

turns out we learned about all of these things and more over the last few months of her joining the family. we’ve learned so much and its been such a joy that she’s decided to start her own series of bun-mom adventures on our channel called from lucy, with love.

keep growing in grace and love my precious baby girl. i’ve adored having the privilege of being by your side for the last 10 years and it’s been a joy.

for those of you who have been following along since before she was born, patiently waiting for what we are able to share, refusing to get swept away in the demands of todays media, and allowing us room to focus on what matters most… our baby girl is 10!!!!!!

with all the love,
