{ FIRST DAYS & NEW FRIENDS... }

I shared a bit about our first days of ‘school’ and our intentions for the coming year(s). and, while their focus is on the heart of their studies, I decided that my focus needed to be on documenting a little differently in these next seasons of unschool & life. we are rounding out our sixth week into the newest unschooling year and I feel like we finally have a handle on our new ways, lol. which means that I can take on the next thing that’s been stirring up my heart. this space! previously this friends club space was created to build a bit of community around establishing our purpose driven unschooling life. and, while I both struggled and throughly enjoyed every part of creating this space, I had to back away from it as it ended up adding more stress to my days rather than accomplishing what I intended.

over the next few days I’d like to re-establish this space, giving it a bit of a makeover. archiving older content and welcoming a new voice that has always been me… about living and learning together. I want this space to be less about me as a teacher/instructor and more about a diary of our homeschool days. if you’ve been here over the years then you probably already know my hearts intention and you may even say to yourself that you’ve seen the vision from the very start. maybe ive been overthinking it all? maybe the journey that you’ve watched me wrestle with is a true indicator of the battle truly at hand. the fight to keep what matters most at the forefront. to clear the journey of distraction that may lead us down a road that wasn’t meant for us at all.

I want to share in ways that serve us, our unschool life and others along the way. as we share as authentically as possible, im believe thing that doors be opened, resources be provided and the increase that’s needed to sustain will be abundant. so, start this fresh ‘new’ space off with a bit of a photo dump from our first days and welcoming a ‘new frienndddssssss…’

with all the love,
